GST Admission 2024

The GST Admission Circular 2024 is officially released! Mark your calendars for the big day! The admission test is scheduled to commence on 27 April, 2024. 

Brace yourself for a triad of tests tailored for Science, Humanities, and Business Education (Commerce), each carrying a total of 100 marks. The format? Multiple-choice, adding an interesting twist to the evaluation process.

Embarking on this academic journey involves a two-step application procedure. Begin by submitting your application, contingent upon your SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent exam results. Once the shortlist is unveiled, only the chosen candidates will proceed to finalise the admission form. 

Don’t forget, there’s a nominal application fee of Tk. 1500/- during the conclusive form submission, which can be conveniently paid through bKash, Rocket, Sure Cash, or Nagad.

GPA requirements for admission to different units and groups

Humanities Group (A Unit):
  • Total GPA required: 6.00
  • Minimum GPA for each board examination (SSC and HSC): 3.00
Business Group (B Unit):
  • Total GPA required: 6.50
  • Minimum GPA for each board examination (SSC and HSC): 3.00
Science Group (C Unit):
  • Total GPA required: 8.00
  • Minimum GPA for each board examination (SSC and HSC): 3.00

For the 22 integrated Admission system this year, only second-time students are eligible to apply. It’s important for applicants to meet these specific GPA requirements based on their chosen group and unit.

GST Admission Admit Card Download Process

After the application deadline, the submitted applications will undergo a thorough review, and only eligible candidates will receive the admit card for the admission test. To obtain the admit card, you must log in to the specified website using your credentials.

Once the admit card is available for download, you can easily retrieve it with just a few clicks. It is essential to make a colour printout of the downloaded admit card and bring it to the exam hall, as no candidates will be permitted to take the admission test without a printed copy of the admit card.

GST Admission Result Declaration

After the completion of the admission test, candidates will undergo assessment based on a composite score, which includes their admission test performance and the GPA scores from their SSC and HSC exams.
