Eligibility of MBBS Admission

To qualify for application, you must be a citizen of Bangladesh who completed SSC or an equivalent qualification either in 2020 or 2021, and HSC or an equivalent qualification (with studies in Physics, Chemistry & Biology) in 2022 or 2023.

Applicants who finished SSC before the year 2020 are ineligible to apply.

General candidates need to attain a minimum overall GPA of 9.0 in SSC and HSC or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, they should have a GPA of at least 3.5 in both SSC and HSC within the Bangladesh & Foreign Education Program.

For candidates belonging to tribal and non-tribal communities from Chittagong Hill Tracts districts, the requirement is a total GPA of 8.0 in SSC and HSC or an equivalent qualification. Applications will be rejected if the GPA is below 3.50 individually. This regulation also extends to foreign students applying for admission to Private Medical/Dental Colleges.

All candidates must hold a GPA of 4.0 in Biology at the HSC level.

To apply for admission to the MBBS program, the online application process can be completed via dgme.teletalk.com.bd/mbbs, using a Teletalk Prepaid Mobile Phone, starting from January 11 to January 23, 2024.

  • Navigate to MBBS Admission.
  • Choose the Application option.
  • Input your details and select “Next.”
  • Accurately complete the application form.
  • Upload your image and signature.
  • Review your application details and click “Submit.”
  • Settle the application fee using a Teletalk Prepaid Mobile.

Please make sure to follow these guidelines:

For your signature, aim for dimensions of 300 X 80 pixels, and keep the file size under 60 KB.

As for your photo, opt for colour, ensuring it’s 300 X 300 pixels in size, and the file size stays below 100 KB.

It’s essential to note that we exclusively accept colour photos. Unfortunately, submissions in black and white or grayscale won’t be taken into account.

Payment Instructions 

Once you’ve completed all the necessary details, give it a thorough check. If you’re content with the information, go ahead and submit the application; it will then be ready for printing. Remember to keep a printed copy for your records and ensure the payment is made within 72 hours. Here’s a simple guide on how to pay the MBBS admission fee using your Teletalk mobile phone:

  • Initiate the first SMS: Type “MBBS [space] User ID” and send it to 16222. For instance, send “MBBS FGLTGS” to 16222.
  • Following the first SMS, Teletalk will respond with a PIN and outline the application fees. Make a note of the PIN.
  • Send the second SMS: Type “MBBS [space] PIN [space] Center Code” and send it to 16222. For instance, send “MBBS YES 45632115 19,47,38,26”.
  • Include four centre codes in your order of preference, separated by commas.
